Gentle Gaia Yoga
With Katy Shay and Kate Knowles
Kate and Katy have been friends since 1999, so we are delighted to be able to work together, offering afternoon and weekend retreats. We decided to call ourselves Gentle Gaia Yoga, Gaia being Mother Earth. Our events are often designed to be in harmony with the natural cycles of nature.
Our afternoon and day retreats are designed to offer women a bit of time out from their busy lives, with gentle yoga, soothing breathwork, deep relaxation, soundbath, time to chat and reconnect with one another and delicious cakes and drinks. Our afternoon retreats coincide with the main seasonal equinoxes, and are designed to support our energy levels as the seasons change.
Katy Shay (on the right in the photo) is a qualified homeopath, yoga teacher (British Wheel of Yoga diploma) and reiki master. Katy specialises in crystal singing bowl soundbaths.
If you'd like to contact Katy directly to find out about her classes or healing treatments available
please call her on 07885 288490.
Kate Knowles (on the left) has been teaching yoga since 2004, training with the British Wheel of Yoga. Kate has since trained in yoga for people living with cancer, menopause yoga, baby yoga, yoga for healthy lower backs and yin yoga.
We both love sharing yoga tips and ideas to support women through the challenges of life.
